Today, Riau contributes the most hotspots in the Sumatra island

As stated by Head of Information Section (Kasi) BMKG Pekanbaru Station, Marzuki. "Sumatra Hotspot with a level of trust above 50 percent is 23 points. Spread the most in Riau 16 points, three points North Sumatra, and Aceh four points," said Marzuki.

Riau Hotspots are located the most in Bengkalis with 10 points, Pelalawan one point, Meranti Islands four points, and Siak one point. "For Riau hotspots with a confidence level above 70 percent there are nine points. Spread in Bengkalis six points and Meranti three points" he said.

For the weather during the day is still bright cloudy, there are still opportunities for local rain in the afternoon until late afternoon. Potential local light rain occurs in Kampar, Kuantan Singingi, Pelalawan and Pekanbaru.

With a maximum air temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, with air humidity 55 - 98 percent and wind comes from North to East with speed of 10 - 30 km / hour.
