Addicted to energized drinks, this young man from Colorado suffered the worst teeth decay case the doctor ever seen

News24xx.com - Vinnie Pyner (21) from Colorado was forced to stop his study in 2017 because he was embarrassed with his decaying teeth. He claimed that the cause of his teeth to decay was because he drank too much energy drinks, up to six cans per day, it was lke he addicted to that. His teeth often got ache, even though he regularly brushed his teeth twice a day, the pain didn't go away.

Until finally, four front teeth of him were loose when he was eating apples. He was very surprised and worried, because the damage was quite bad, but tried to cover up that from her mother. When he checked it, the dentist was very surprised by the condition of his teeth and called Vinnie's case the worst he had ever seen and handled.

"I never thought it would be as bad as this, it has huge impact on my self confidence. I once had the ambition to become a game designer but now my dream had been destroyed. My teeth need 24 patches and repairs on the front" Vinnie said, quoted by FoxNews.

Many health experts have warned for a long time about the dangers of energy drinks, related to consumption of caffeine, heart health, even body growth. Energy drinks also contain high amounts of acid which can damage teeth.

According to a study published in the Academy of General Dentistry, damage to tooth enamel which caused it to be very sensitive and prone to holes and is very likely to decay. Therefore, it is recommended to limit caffeine consumption by around 400 mg per day, approximately 4-5 cups of coffee.
