The bread is made by a Finnish bakery, called Fazer Bakery. Crickets are said to be the main ingredient in making breads in that bakery. Although it sounds weird, but surprisingly, many people like it.

The crickets are crushed before being mixed with other ingredients. Then, the bread dough is made like normal.

Fazer Bakery claims that they make the breads with special flour made of crickets that they imported from the Netherlands. The cricket flour contains high level of protein. The breads in Fazer Bakery are also richer in protein compared to other breads.
