Thousands of people and farmers in Siak Regency welcomed the arrival of Moeldoko

News24xx.com -  Thousands of people and farmers in Sungai Nibung Village, Bengkalis Regency and Bandar Sungai Village, Siak Regency, welcomed the arrival of the Indonesian Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) General TNI (ret.) Moeldoko, on Friday (2/22/2019) afternoon.

The visit of Moeldoko to Riau is to see the peat wetting infrastructure.

In his visit, he was accompanied by Riau Governor H Syamsuar and Head of the Peat Restoration Agency (BRG), Nazir Foead, Acting Regent of Siak Alfredi and Bengkalis Regent Amril Mukminin.

The group of four TNI star generals arrived at the location using a helicopter, which was landed first on a football field in Sabak Auh Subdistrict, Siak Regency.

The group immediately look at the canal block located in Sungai Bandar Village, and also talked with several farmers and also the Village Head.

Then the group moved towards the second location, where about five thousand farmers were waiting for him in Sungai Nibung Village, Siak Kecil District, Bengkalis district.

Moeldoko also conducted a gathering with farmers in the Sungai Rokan Peat Hydrological Zone (KHG).
