Camera becomes the main consideration of customers in India to buy a new smartphone


IllustrationIllustration - As many as 89% of consumers in India choose the camera as the main consideration when they want to buy a smartphone. At least this is the result gets by Cyber ??Media Research (CMR) survey of consumers in India. After the camera, in the next order the consideration is battery life (87%), RAM (79%) and internal memory (72%).

The results of the survey revealed buyers preferred this results better rather than choosing specific brand. As quoted from Gadgets 360, on Tuesday, March 12th 2019, the survey revealed, consumer preferences were driven by various factors, such as overall product quality (92%), product performance (90%), product aesthetics (82%) and service reliable after the purchase (76%).

"In a highly competitive market, characterized by a sea of ??similarities in smartphones, brands that invest ensure product quality and finer aspects will win handsomely" said Narindar Kumar, Lead Analyst-IIG CMR. "Indian consumers, especially post-millennial and Gen-Z are very demanding. For them, product design, quality and overall value for the money they spend is very important" he continued.

The survey was conducted in 8 major cities in India throughout February 2019, involving young people aged 15 to 30 years from various backgrounds and different income levels.
