The death of Pordygy vocalist, Keith Flint confirmed as suicide from the police

News24xx.com - The cause of the death of British electronic band vocalist The Prodigy, Keith Flint, was confirmed on Monday, March 11th 2019. Flint is said to have died from hanging himself. He was found dead at his home in the Essex area of ??England on Monday, March 4th 2019. Liam Howlett, Flint's colleague at The Prodigy became the first person to reveal that the 49-year-old man committed suicide.

But by the police, Flint's death was called not suspicious. "Police have arrived, all protocols have been followed and his death is certainly not suspicious" coroner Lynsey Chaffe said, quoted by NME. Chaffe confirmed the interim report released on March 7, stating that Flint committed suicide. He said the police still needed time to determine the results of the investigation and await the results of the toxicology report.

Flint's sudden departure made Howlett and Maxim Reality shocked. "It is very surprising and sad that we have to confirm the death of our brother and friend Keith Flint" they said in an official statement.

"He is a true pioneer, innovator and legend. We will forever miss him" the statement continued. Flint's decision to end his life made Prodigy cancel all of their upcoming concerts, including a gig schedule at Glastonbury. There has been no response from this band except an upload of their thank you note on Instagram.
