News24xx.com - Muslims in US and Canada posted photos of packed mosques to show faith and resilience after the attack in the mosques in New Zealand. The photos show worshippers attending the weekly Friday prayer service, which happened after at least 49 people killed at two mosques in Christchurch.

The attack was the deadliest in New Zealand’s modern history. It was allegedly done by an anti-immigrant nationalist who live-streamed the massacre on Facebook.

The police in some major cities in US tightened the security around mosques. Despite the fear and anxiety in the wake of the attack, Muslims refused to be deterred and attended the mosques to pray like usual. In fact, a Muslim advocacy organization, Mpower Change, encouraged Muslims to tweet the photos of their mosques with the hashtag #MyMosque.

“We are #UnapologeticallyMuslim—and we won’t be deterred or intimidated,” the organization wrote, as cited from Huffpost.
