Zac Efron and Amanda Seyfried will voice the characters in the new Scooby-Doo film

News24xx.com - A new Scooby-Doo film will hit the big screen. Zac Efron and Amanda Seyfried join the cast for the new animated film.

The new film is titled Scoob. It is the first time since Warnber Bros.’ 2004 film Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed that the Mystery Inc. gang will appear on the big screen. Tony Cervone will be the director for the film project, while Chris Columbus, Pam Coats and Allison Abbate will be the producers.

Efron and Seyfried will voice Fred and Daphne respectively. Other than them, there are Gina Rodriguez as Velma, Will Forte as Shaggy and Franks Welker as Scooby-Doo.

In Scoob, Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby will face Dick Dastardly, a villain who first appeared in the animated series in 1968.
