Residents confused by mashed potatoes that keep appearing everywhere near their livings

News24xx.com  - Residents of Mississippi, United States, were confused by mashed potatoes that keep appearing in many places. There were mashed potatoes left on their cars, their porches, and even their mailboxes.

One of the residents, Jordan Lewis said that this potato phenomenon is puzzling them. Lewis herself found her first bowl of potatoes on her car.

“I walked outside yesterday morning at 7 a.m. and I got in my car and that’s when I noticed a white bowl on my windshield. It was full of rainwater. I threw it away and I was grossed out by it. I just thought this is a harmless prank by some kids or college students in the area,” she said.

Another resident, Michaela Lin, found a bowl of mashed potatoes on her mailbox. She noticed that some of the people who got mashed potatoes are connected to Belhaven University, a local Christian University.

“So far I have realizes some of the ‘victims’ of the mashed potatoes are actually staff or Belhaven students or alumni. I feel like there has to be a connection there,” she said.

But according to another resident, Sebastian Bjernegard, other people feel that there is a more sinister meaning to these mashed potatoes. He himself almost stepped into a bowl on Tuesday.

“Some people were thinking maybe the mashed potatoes were poisoned to kill animals. I didn’t taste it. I have three-second rule, so I didn’t touch it. But some people were worried,” he said.
