Honda Jazz will never had turbo

News24xx.com - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has had two previous model with turbo, Honda Civic and CR-V as well. However for Jazz, Honda has no intendedof putting up the turbo.

Director of Marketing and After-sales Service of PT HPM, Jonfis Fandy, said bringing in Jazz with turbo at all does not provide benefits for consumers.

"No, because there is no benefitnya. If we added the turbo,the price adds to the car. It might added 50 million, but we dont know the price when look we at Thailand," explained Jonfis.

It is different with the CR-V and Civic Hatchback which was previously carrying the machine has a capacity in the range of 2,000-2,500 cc which exposed to higher taxes.

Then, the selling price with turbo could be cheaper by lowering the engine capacity and plus turbo.

"If Indonesia the same Civic CR-V have compensation tax,it could be 0. Not because the turbo adds cost, but because it already 1,500 cc turbo plus no tax reduction."said Jonfis.
