According management director of Waikato Hospital, New Zealand, Colin Hearnden, it is possible that the car’s owner is an elderly person who forgot that they had parked there.

“this is a case where someone completely forgot that they had parked here, went to the hospital, did something, went home and didn’t remember where they left their car,” he said.
