News24xx.com - Michelle Myers from Arizona claimed to have a headache, which she then brought to sleep. When she woke up, she spoke like a native Englishman, even though she have never been to England. After being investigated, the mysterious condition she experienced is a medical condition called Foreign Accent Syndrome (FAS).

"FAS often occurs due to stroke or head trauma. Some cases are also associated with multiple sclerosis, but others do not have a clear cause. People with this disease usually experience changes in dialect, as if they are speaking with a foreign accent" explained the University of Texas, quoted from Fox News.

The 45-year-old woman is also known to have Ehlers-Danlos, which causes her to have joints that are very flexible and potentially cause rupture of blood vessels. Before finally accenting England for years, she had several times experienced a change in foreign accents, which only lasted a few weeks.

Doctors who treat it suspect that this condition is caused by hemiplegic migraine. Which is a rare condition for migraines but results in number of symptoms similar with stroke, which are likely to affect Michelle's way of speaking.
