X-Men: Dark Phoenix releases its newest trailer

News24xx.com - 20th Century Fox will release the final film in the X-Men movie series, titled X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The film project is releasing a new trailer yesterday.

In this new film, one of the X-Men members, Jean Grey, starts to lose control. She almost died when she was hit by a mysterious cosmic force during a mission in outer space. She not only becomes more powerful, but also more unstable. X-Men have to work together to save her soul and battle alines who want to get her new power to rule the galaxy.

Dark Phoenix is directed and written by Simon Kinberg. It stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hault, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain.

Sophie Turner, who plays Jean Grey, said that it is a pressure to get this version right. But she still tries to do justice to the original story.

“I know it’s one of the most loved stories of the X-Men universe and for Simon to trust me enough with this responsibility is a big honor. And I want to do the fans of the original story justice, and of course, there’s a lot of pressure especially having been done before,” she said, as cited from Comicbook.com.
