207 people died in the bomb explosions which happened in three different locations in Sri Lanka

News24xx.com - The death toll from the Easter bombs blast in Sri Lanka on Sunday, April 21st 2019 continued to increase. The government also asks residents to remain calm and be at home. Reporting from the AFP on Sunday, April 21st 2019, a source from the police said the death toll reached 207 people, including 35 foreigners.

Sources from the local hospital stated that foreigners who became the victims came from US, Britain, Portuguese, Chinese and Dutch. Not only that, hundreds of people were injured and have to be taken to the hospital.

An AFP source from the police said the explosion occurred in three luxury hotels and three churches, St. Anthony’s Shrine in Colombo, St. Sebastian’s Church in Negombo; and Zion Church in Batticaloa..

"An emergency meeting in a few minutes. A rescue operation is underway" Sri Lanka's Minister of Economic Reform and Public Distribution Harsha de Silva said on his official Twitter account quoted on Sunday, April 21st 2019.

De Silva has come directly to two hotels that were the location of the explosion and the Church of St Anthony. At that location, he saw pieces of limbs scattered. "Please keep calm and stay at your home" he said.
