Posting his photo wearing blangkon, Instagram account of Bill Gates crowded by netizen from Indonesia

News24xx.com - Bill Gates showing off his photo wearing blangkon and releasing mosquitoes recently, the founder of Microsoft apparently took that picture on his visit to Indonesia, precisely in the city of Yogyakarta. "It was a time when I released an infected mosquito with common bacteria that could block the spread of dengue when visiting Indonesia" he wrote in Instrgam.

Gates also posted links to several studies on dengue fever and how to stop the disease. "The host gave me a blangkon, traditional Javanese headgear, to wear" he added regarding the blangkon he used.

The rich man who is now devoted to philanthropy is known to have visited Yogyakarta in 2014. He visited UGM campus to learn more about the project to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito by infecting it with the Wolbachia bacteria.

Wolbachia makes the mosquito no longer dangerous. Gates's wife, Melinda, also came to Yogya in 2017 to do the same, besides also wanting to know the success of the Family Planning program in Indonesia.
