News24xx.com -  A man trying to get into the UK from Chad, Africa, was found dead under a passenger bus after getting trapped in the axle.

The man named Mahammat Abdullah Moussa was found hanging from the undercarriage of the coach, which was filled with tourists, at the Folkestone end of the EuroTunnel.

Mahammat, 25, is believed to have been killed when his clothing wrapped around the moving axle. His lower left leg was missing and he suffered significant chest injuries.

There were also bones and organs missing. It is though that he had been there for up to 24 hours after boarding at the Gare du Nord, Brussels, on November 17. The coach then made its way through France towards London.

Detective Sargent Darren Mankelow said it was likely that Mahammat’s death was ‘pretty instantaneous’ after the coach started moving.

He had positioned himself under the vehicle near the axle and the injuries were sustained by the turning of the axle. Mahammat was identified through fingerprints that had been stored by Interpol.
