News24xx.com - A study shows, sleeping with too much light can interfere with healthy sleep, even increasing the risk of sleep disorders and other health problems. This means you need to reduce exposure to light and avoid turning on the television during sleep.

Quoted from Everyday Health, according to recent research, even a combination of both (bright light and sleep disorders) can make us fatter, more depressed, and at risk of getting cancer.

Therefore, in a study led by Colleen Carney, PhD, assistant lecturer in psychology at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, and her colleagues reviewed shock responses of 90 people in the morning and evening. Exceptions apply to those who have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). As a result, those who have difficulty sleeping are often surprised when responding to loud sounds in the dark.

Those who report lack of sleep may have a low fear of darkness. The basic rhythms of the body, including the cycle of wake and sleep are tied to exposure to light. According to Christopher Drake, PhD, sleep expert from Henry Ford Hospital, the body produces the hormone soporific melatonin (a trigger for sleepiness in preparation for sleep).
