300-year-old samurai era house is up for rent in Japan

News24xx.com - If you are looking for a place to stay, the houses that are located outside the city center are usually the best choice. Sure, it may be fun to live in the middle of the city, with places outside of the city center are usually, cheaper, quieter more spacious and more traditional.

If you are interested, one of them, a traditional house, which is 300 years old and built around the samurai era, is up for rent at Japanese real estate website At Home. The house is located in Chiba Prefecture.

The realtor does not know the exact date of the construction. But it is estimated to be around 1710, during the feudal Edo period when Japan was still ruled by a shogun.

With the rent being around USD 1,080, it is not the cheapest place out there. But it is quite spacious, with seven rooms and a dining/kitchen area.
