Detective Conan successfully surpassed Avengers: Endgame to top the box office in Japan

In Sakura's country, the live action film 'Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire' which dominated the box office in that country. Based on data from the box office in Japan, 'Detective Conan' stayed in first place during the Golden Week there.

'Detective Conan' earns revenue of 7.52 billion Yen defeating the 'Endgame' in the second place. Even though this could be a new record, but considering the Avengers: Endgame has been in the cinema for 3 weeks, this result doesn't seem too surprising.

In the third place there is 'Pokemon Detective Pikachu'. Then Kingdom and Crayon Shinchan follow in the fourth and fifth place. Endgame itself has exceeded Titanic's income. From the global broadcast, 'Endgame' has earned revenues of up to USD 2.1 billion.
