Disney releases the first trailer of the sequel of Maleficent, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

News24xx.com -  Disney released a teaser trailer for the second sequel to the adaptation of the story of Sleeping Beauty in 'Maleficent 2'. This film, titled 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil', and it brought Angelina Jolie back to potray the character Maleficent. Previously, she was described as a complex and tragic figure in the first movie in 2015.

In the latest teaser trailer, a new conflict faced by Maleficent. In a circulating synopsis she planned to hold the throne as queen. But there is a new enemy in her struggle to protect the Moors and all magical creatures who live in it.

The figure who will face Maleficent this time seems to be Queen Ingrith, played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning play their respective roles from the first movie, Maleficent and Princess Aurora. Other returning cast members include Sam Riley as Diaval; Imelda Staunton as Pixie Knotgrass; Juno Temple as Thistlewit Pixie; and Lesley Manville as Pixie Flittle.
