Reduce the grease intake can greatly reduce the risk of your death due to breast cancer

IllustrationIllustration - If you're a fan of eating fried foods, it's good to start limiting yourself from that kind of food from now on. According to research, reducing grease intake and increasing fruit intake can reduce the risk of dying from breast cancer. In the study, a group of women were asked to reduce the grease intake by 20 percent and increase their fruit, vegetables, and wheat intake, and for another group underwent their usual routine.

As a result, the group that underwent the experiment decreased the risk of dying from breast cancer by 20 percent. The scientists presented these findings at a meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in Chicago. "This really shows that changing diets, losing weight, exercise, can really do good for the body" said Dr. Jennifer Ligibel of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, quoted from Dailymail.

Although these findings are considered promising, diets such as those carried out in this experiment did not observe a reduced risk of suffering breast cancer. Still, an increase in the chances of survival is exciting. Statistics estimate that 1 in 8 women in the UK and the United States have breast cancer, and every year this disease kills around 40 thousand people.
