News24xx.com - Daniel Craig injured his ankle on the set of the latest James Bond movie. At that time he was filming in Jamaica and was forced to stop filming for a while. Even so the 'Bond 25' will retain the release date as predicted earlier, on April 2020.

This is explained through tweets issued by the official James Bond account. "Update on Bond 25: Daniel Craig will undergo minor ankle surgery due to an injury he suffered during filming in Jamaica. Production will continue while Craig is rehabilitated for two weeks postoperatively. The movie will still be released on April 2020."

Quoted from The Sun, the 51-year-old actor slipped and fell in the scene where he had to run, and this is not the first time Craig has been injured while playing the role of 007, which he has been potrayedfor the past 13 years.

Craig lost two front teeth while filming the action on his first Bond movie, 'Casino Royale' in 2006. He accidentally injured his fingertips while filming 2008 'Quantum of Solace'. He also suffered a knee injury while filming the fight scene for 2015 ‘Specter’.
