Oprah Winfrey held pizza party and donates USD 500 thousand to school

News24xx.com -  Oprah Winfrey gave a surprise to West Side Middle School students in Newark. 

This surprise took the form of a party with a generous amount of pizza pie. Not only that, Oprah also donated USD 500,000 for the Light's On After School program.

The program was created by the new headmaster namely Akbar Cook who wanted to make the container safe on Friday night for his school students. 

According to the PEOPLE report on May 21 2019, Oprah heard the idea through CBS News after previously donating a washing machine installation in a school dormitory to help students.

For that program every Friday night, the school will cooks for dinner about  300 students registered each week. 

But on last Friday, Oprah Winfrey gave the workers time off and held a party by serving her pizza product with Kraft Heinz, "O, That's Good" Pizza.

After delighting the students with surprise, Oprah and Kraft Heinz also donated a ShopRite voucher of USD 50 to 300 children present. After distributing prizes, Oprah personally wrote a check of USD 500,000 to support the continuation of the program.
