13 people injured due to the bomb blast that happened on the heart of city of Lyon in France

News24xx.com - French police is hunting down suspect related to a bomb blast on a pedestrian lane in the heart of the city of Lyon. So far, the injuries caused by the explosion increased to 13 people. As reported by AFP on Saturday, May 25th 2019, French President Emmanuel Macron called the explosion that shocked the country on Friday, May 24th local time as 'an act of terrorism'. To solve this matter, Macron sent Interior Minister Christophe Castaner to directly observe the location of the explosion in Lyon.

Separately, Justice Minister Nicole Belloubet told local television BFM that it was too soon to call the blast as an "act of terrorism". Local authorities said the explosion came from a package containing metal debris. But it is known that the Paris prosecutor's office is investigating the bomb blast as an alleged 'terrorism conspiracy'.

So far there have been no reports of casualties from this explosion. Local authorities said the number of injured victims increased to 13 people, with 11 of them still being treated at local hospitals. The injuries suffered by the victims are said by the officials will not endanger their lives. The wounded are reported to consist of eight women, four men and one 10-year-old girl.

Local police said they are hunting down a suspect related to a bomb blast. The suspect is identified as a man believed to be in his 30s, who was captured by a security camera or CCTV in the blast area while riding a mountain bike shortly before the blast occurred.
