Ten ways to get a lighter skin tone with kitchen ingredients

However, we have also have some basic natural remedies too that can help you. 

Here are 10 ways you can get a lighter skin tone.

1. Lemon is possibly the best bleaching ingredient and scrubbing it on your face can remove the dead skin.

2. Drinking water not only hydrates your whole body, it also acts as a neutraliser and helps your skin glow.

3. Squeeze a potato and apply the juice on your face regularly, and you'll see the gradual change.

4. Chickpea flour, popularly known as besan is a brilliant exfoliant. It removes old and dead skin cells.

5. Apply tomato pulp to your skin and it'll leave you a pink glow.

6. Take ½ to 2 teaspoons of cucumber juice and spread it evenly on your face. Cucumber is great when it comes to refreshing your skin.

7. Mix cinnamon and honey and apply it on your face. This mixture restores moisture in the skin and leaves you with glowing skin. 

8. Curd is rich in lactic and zinc acid. Both the ingredients have natural skin lightening properties. So a curd pack is your best bet for glowing skin. You can add turmeric too to this pack.

9. Mint can also contribute to fair skin. Simply grind some mint leaves and add water to the paste. Then apply this paste on your face and neck and leave for sometime for best results.

10. Mix curd, oatmeal and tomato pulp to form a nice liquid paste and apply to your face.
