Shocking transfer rumour: Gianluigi Buffon will go to Barcelona?

News24xx.com - The shocking transfer rumour came from Barcelona. The La Liga giant is reportedly interested to invite Gianluigi Buffon to play for them. As reported by Sky Sports, based on reports from Sky Italia, Barcelona is reportedly ready to bring Buffon this summer. The 41-year-old goalkeeper will be plotted as the second keeper of Barcelona.

Barcelona plans to bring Buffon to replace Jasper Cillessen as the team's second goalkeeper. Cillessen himself is called to leave, and rumors said he will be joining Manchester United. Buffon is indeed available in the transfer market this summer. He just decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain by not extending his contract which expired on June 30th.

Even though his age is not young anymore, Buffon claims he is still capable to be keeper for the professional club. So far, the goalkeeper who led the Italian national team to win the 2006 World Cup is still in demand by many clubs.

And Buffon's agent, Silvano Martina, had said that his client prefers to play in Italy. The goalkeeper who was once had played for Parma and Juventus is asked to play for Carrarese, Genoa and Lazio.
