News24xx.com - K-Pop fans are furious at Australian Television Network, Channel Nine, for airing the footage of BLACKPINK’s concert at Sydney’s Qudo’s Bank Arena when talking about an unrelated drug bust.

The segment was aired on Sunday afternoon, on Nine News. The news was about five people who had been arrested on drug supply charges at a dance festival that took place at Olympic Park.

An army BLACKPINK’s fans took to Twitter and criticized the network for using the video of BLACKPINK’s performance for an unrelated crime news. They considered it defamation and called it “disgraceful” journalism.

“Poor journalism and lack of integrity. What they reported did NOT happen at a BLACKPINK concert,” one user tweeted.

“The lack of professionalism is just baffling. How can they use images of BLACKPINK’s concert for a story involving a completely different event at a completely different arena? That is so unprofessional,” tweeted another.

Supporters of BLACKPINK warned Channel Nine that the case could be taken to court for defamation. They also use the hashtag “Channel Nine apologize to BLACKPINK”.
