Often uploading her sexy photos on social media, this doctor got her permit revoked by the government

News24xx.com - A doctor from Myanmar, Nang Mwe San, protested when her practice permit was revoked by the Myanmar Medical Council. The reason is because Mwe San often uploads sexy photos on social media with swimsuits and lingerie.

Mwe San, who has been practicing for five years as a doctor, is also active in the world of modelling. According to her, there is no specific rule in the medical code of ethics which states how a doctor should dress.

The Myanmar Medical Council mentioned that Mwe San had violated the culture and tradition of dressing of the doctor. The Council actually gave a warning in January where Mwe San promised to 'clean up' her social media but she has not done it. "I don't dress like that when I was handling patients" Mwe San was quoted as saying by the Straits Times on Monday, June 17th 2019.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says that Myanmar itself is actually still lacking in professional health workers. "I don't think they should interfere with personal freedom and this is not their business" Mwe San said, planning to appeal against the decision of the Myanmar Medical Council.
