Selena Gomez told that she doesn't have Instagram on her smartphone

News24xx.com - Selena Gomez admitted she does not have Instagram installed on her smartphone even though she has 152 million followers. The number of followers is even enough to give her the title as one of the ‘Instagram queens’.

The fact that Selena does not have her own Instagram application was recently revealed to the public in an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan, as quoted from Business Insider, on Monday, June 17th 2019. The 27 years old singer said that decision because she wanted to avoid the ‘dangerous’ effect of social media.

"It becomes really unhealthy. I think personally, for young people like me, spending time looking all comments and letting these things in my head can affect me badly" Selena said. "It will make me depressed. It will make me feel bad about myself and see my body differently and all kinds of things."

At the end of 2018, she had "left Instagram" for four months due to negative comments she received. Selena's personal problems related to mental health were also quite influencing her life, so she decided to take a break from Instagram.
