Thousands of wildlife has been secured and almost 600 suspects arrested in the wildlife smuggling case cracked by Interpol

An Interpol spokesman said that they have arrested 582 suspects from the raid and secured 23 primates, 30 large cats, more than 4,300 birds, around 1,500 reptiles and 10,000 turtles and turtles. And they also confiscated 440 elephant ivory and 545 kilograms of additional ivory.

"Crimes against wildlife not only damage our natural resources, but also have an impact on related violence, money laundering and fraud," said Juergen Stock.

Previously, Interpol had carried out massive crackdowns in 2017 and 2018. The crime was estimated at millions of US dollars.
