The youth of Pangkalan Kerinci protested to the companies that have no care for Kerinci river

News24xx.com - Guna Dodos Company and Indosawit Company, the companies that work around the area of Kerinci River, Pangkalan Kerinci District, show no care for the river. This made one of the youth of Pangkalan Kerinci, Muhammad Daud, S. Sos angry.

“We are very disappointed with the companies’ behaviors. They don’t see the problem that’s right in front of them, amazing,” he said.

Daud warned the companies to be more responsible to the environment. He and the other youths had studied the condition of the river and the local people.

“The road to the bottom canal, right inside the garden of Guna Dodos company. You can see the condition, bushes at both sides of the road have grown that they almost covered the whole road,” he said.

Daud said that he will talk about this with other youths and local people. There is a possibility that they will march in a protest to the companies and the Government of Pelalawan Regency.
