A Turkish diplomat killed in the shooting incident which occurred in the fancy restaurant in Iraq

News24xx.com - There was a shooting incident occured at a fancy restaurant in the Erbil area of Iraq. As a result of this attack, a diplomat from Turkey was killed and injured several other people who were visiting the restaurant.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu explained that the armed attack was carried out by three people who appeared to be targeting the Turkish diplomat, because the attackers only opened fire on the people near the Turkish diplomat.

"We continue to make contact so we can arrest the perpetrators as soon as possible, and the reason of the attack could be revealed to the public," Cavusoglu said as reported by Aljazeera, on Thursday, July 18, 2019.

Until now no one has claimed responsibility for the shooting.
