Thanks to the protective armor that she wears, this police officer caught that she has breast cancer

News24xx.com - Samantha Woods (33) is a female police officer from West Yorkshire, England, who has just undergone breast surgery. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in February after realizing there was something unusual when wearing her protective clothing for her work.

Samantha told that she felt a little pain in the chest on the left when wearing protective clothing. At first, she thought, it was due to the protective clothing that was too tight, but after being checked more thoroughly Samantha found that there was a part of her breasts that seemed to bend.

Finally, Samantha decided to check with the doctor, and she underwent an MRI examination and biopsy at the hospital. After that, the doctors diagnosed her with early stage breast cancer.

"I was shocked," Samantha was quoted as saying by the BBC, Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Samantha told her story on Twitter in the hope that it can be a reminder that breast cancer can attack anyone. .

Now Samantha is awaiting further examination to ascertain whether the cancer has been removed or still remains in her body.

"To be honest, I was able to get a diagnosis as soon as possible thanks to the fact that I had to wear protective clothing. Without that shirt, I didn't know how long it took until I realized the signs of cancer," concluded Samantha.
