Siak police held a raid in the orderly traffic zone

News24xx.com - The Traffic Unit of Siak Sector Police held a routine operation with Transportation Department in the Orderly Traffic Zone (KTL), specifically around Tengku Agung Sultanah Latifa Street, on Friday, July 19th.

The operation was done to put order to the lines of vehicles. Head of Traffic Unit, Birgitta Atvina Wijayanti, through the Head of Patrol Unit Asril, said that the raid also aimed to catch any driver that violated the traffic rules.

“We checked the drivers who did any violation, like not wearing helmet, not bringing STNK (Vehicle Registration Certificate) or SIM (Driving License), and vehicles that do not light their headlights. Also, the driver of four-wheel vehicles who did not use the safety belt,” Asril said.

By doing this raid, Asril hopes that they encourage the people to follow the traffic rules for the sake of other people’s safety as well as their own.
