Meranti government will help pay the treatment for a boy who suffers from heart disease

News24xx.com - The Government of Meranti Islands Regency shows their concern for the health of their civilians. One of them is a 9-year-old boy named Hafizan Kholil, form Banglas Village, Tebing Tinggi District.

Hafizan suffered from tricuspid valve regurgitation. The Regional Secretary of Meranti, H. Yulian Norwis SE MM visited his home on Sunday, July 21st. He was accompanied by the District Head of Tebing Tinggi, Helfandi SE M.Si, Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Hery Saputra SH and many others.

Yulian and his group were welcomed by the Head of the Hamlet Indra, as well as Hafizan’s parents, Suryani (35) and Amrizal (40). When they visited, Hafizan looked so frail and thin due to his sickness.

His mother, Suryani said that Hafizan only suffered from this sickness 7 months ago. He was fine, before he started having difficulty and breathing and chest pain. They then brought Hafizan to Pekanbaru Eka Hospital and found out that he suffered from heart leak.

In order to treat Hafizan, the doctor said that they need to do an operation. However, the cost was not cheap, which is around IDR 80 million. This caused a problem for this family because they do not have enough money for it.

Hearing about it, H. Yulian Norwis promised that Meranti Government will try their best to find a solution for Hafizan. The Regional Hospital of Meranti is coordinating with Pekanbaru Hospital to discuss Hafizan’s treatment and the cost.
