News24xx.com - Commander of the TNI, General Hadi Tjahjanto confirmed that he would send a hercules plane to extinguish karlahut in Riau.

"If it is until September the dry season, and we consider blackout with water booming to be ineffective, then we will reduce hercules," he said, Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

According to him, the process of extinguishing karlahut carried out by a joint team and also water bombbing helicopters are still effective.

"From the air monitoring we have indeed seen the distribution of fires evenly. But the suppression process by the joint team is still going well," he said.

In reviewing the location of the hotspots in KM 23 Jalan Poros RAPP Langgam Village, Pelalawan Regency, the TNI Commander also briefly handed over uniforms to TNI soldiers who were on duty to put out the fire.

"Please change the uniform, which has been several days in the body," said TNI Commander General Hadi Tjahjanto.
