Implementing Duties (Plt) of the Pekanbaru City Health Office (Dinkes) Muhammad Amin, Wednesday (08/14/2019), said, air quality due to haze is still a medium category. The category of air quality is dangerous for the vulnerable.

"Residents who are prone to this haze are the main thing we save to the puskesmas," he said.

In addition, Pekanbaru residents are asked to reduce outdoor activities. Although Pekanbaru was poured by light rain twice, the smog remained.

"We ask residents to use masks. Our masks are still enough. Last night we only sent masks to the puskesmas," Amin said.

If air quality is in the dangerous category, Pekanbaru Health Office will announce it to the public. That, the air quality is dangerous to humans.
