Gerindra party chair Prabowo Subianto will meet the acting chair of the United Development Party

News24xx.com - Gerindra party chair Prabowo Subianto reportedly will meet the acting chair of the United Development Party (PPP) Suharso Monoarfa this afternoon, August 15, at 16:00 Jakarta time, at Prabowo’s residence on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta.

“Yes, it's as scheduled. There is no plan yet about a press conference afterward,” said Gerindra party spokesperson Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, Thursday, August 15.

Dahnil was stopped short of detailing the meeting agenda. He said that the meeting will be a mere silaturahmi or communal gathering after the 2019 presidential election.

“Just silaturahmi after the election,” he remarked, adding that Prabowo will be accompanied by several parties' elites.

Gerindra and PPP were publicly known to oppose each other during the last presidential election as PPP endorsed Jokowi who was Prabowo’s political rival, albeit its politicians in a number of regions supported Prabowo.
