Head of Inhil Disease Control and Eradication, Subowo Radiyanto said, every day he made a list of reports for diseases caused by karlahut, including ISPA, pneumonia, asthma, diarrhea, skin irritation, and eye irritation.

"There are 28 Puskesmas in Indragiri Hilir Regency who send us reports every day regarding the recap of these diseases," Subowo said.

According to him, for ISPA cases now has reached 735 more cases, Pneumonia 1 case, Asthma 56 cases, Skin irritation 68 cases and Eye irritation 24 cases and Diarrhea 169 cases.

"This number will be predicted to continue to see weather and cases of land and forest fires also increase and run rampant in some areas," he said.

He added, for the Kempas and Kemuning Districts the current alert status was related to ARI, while Tembilahan and surrounding areas were still on alert status, according to the mapping of the worst karlahut areas.

"We urge the public to always be careful when outdoors activities, wear masks and always drink lots of water," Subowo said.
