Regent Alfedri Inspector of the Proclamation Seconds Ceremony, Three Brothers Become Paskibra

Siak Alfedri presided over the 74th Second Republic of Indonesia Independence Proclamation Commemoration Ceremony in 2019 at the Tugu Square in front of Asserayah Al Hasyimiyah Palace Siak Sri Indrapura, Saturday morning (08/17/2019).

Attending the meeting were The House of Representative (DPRD) Chairperson Indra Gunawan along with members, PLT Regional Secretary Jamaluddin, Members of the Siak Regency Forkompinda, assistants, OPD leaders, sub-district heads in the Siak Regency Government environment and community leaders and all attendees at the ceremony.

While Regent Siak Alfedri who acted as Inspector after leading the ceremony said the theme of the 74th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia this year is a reflection of the enthusiasm that the heroes set out to free and advance the country, especially in the field of education so that Indonesia would progress to become a superior nation.

"In accordance with the theme of the 74th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia this year, namely Indonesia's Superior Human Resources going forward, of course we make this momentum a reflection of the spirit of warriors and heroes, how we create a superior and creative generation and competitive," said Alfedri.

The theme, he said, illustrates the current vision of the Government that puts forward the improvement of the quality of Indonesian Human Resources as a whole.

"This is in line with our enthusiasm in advancing regions in Siak Regency, we are committed to advancing Education and building the sons of Siak into superior and competitive Human Resources," he said.

In particular, he also mentioned that the implementation of the 74th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia Independence Proclamation has been going well and smoothly. For this reason, he expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the Indonesian National Police and related OPD, and specifically to the Paskibra in charge.

"Alhamdulillah, the ceremony was safe and smooth. I would especially like to thank Paskibra's younger siblings and the entire event organizer involved "he concluded.

After the ceremony, the Regent of Siak had the opportunity to hand over a Decree symbolically to a number of inmates at the Siak Detention Center who received remission or reduced sentences from the state, to as many as 54 prisoners.

From field observations, it can be seen that the people of Siak Sri Indrapura City participated in enlivening and witnessing the proceedings of the ceremony, besides the ceremony participants from the Indonesian National Police and ASN elements as well as honorary staff and students who followed the ceremony solemnly.

Meanwhile out of the line of flag-raising troops, acting as tray carriers was Awindi Savitri, the third child of five siblings Asmadi Usman and El Midawati. Awindi is currently a student at Minas 1 High School.

When he was met he told of the feelings of emotion and pride he experienced after carrying out the state's duty to fly the Red and White Flag in the National Capital of the Sri Indrapura Palace.

"There is a sense of emotion and pride to be able to receive the flag directly from the hands of the Regent of Siak, then the opportunity to fly the flag in front of the Siak Palace is witnessed by many people. This is truly an experience and a pride for me, "said Awindi.

He also told me that it turned out that being a Paskibra was not easy and it was quite a long struggle and process that had to go through.

"In addition to having to pass the selection, Paskibraka members were also forged for a month by the ranks of the trainers. Alhamdulillah, finally I was able to become a core force thanks to the support of my friends, "he said.

Meanwhile Awinda, Awindi's twin sister, was also declared to have passed the selection as a member of Paskibra for the Riau Province level, and their youngest brother named Wisnu Ilya was also tasked with raising the flag in Minas District.

Aside from being a Paskibra, Awindi is also known as an accomplished taekwondo athlete. In the field of martial arts he was recorded twice won a gold medal at the championship level of Siak Regency and Riau Province, which is when representing Siak District and Siak Regency for Riau Province level.

The Paskibra in carrying out the task of raising the flag seemed to demonstrate the formation of a straight line with a composition of rows consisting of three groups, each consisting of Group 8 guarding the tray carriers, group 17 consisting of Paskibra escorting forces, and group 45 acting as escort troops who consisting of 34 TNI personnel and 11 Polri personnel. ***
