News24xx.com - Pengprov Indonesia Martial Arts Amateur (IBA) Riau began to make preparations for the inauguration of the management which is planned to be held in November 2019 in Pekanbaru City.

"Not just an inauguration, on that occasion IBA Riau Pengprov will also hold an inaugural event," IBA Riau Pengprov Chairman Anis Murzil said at the inaugural meeting of the management on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.

"Our plan, the inauguration will take place inside the octagon. The aim is to simultaneously introduce the free fighting martial arts (MMA) to the public," he continued.

Anis continued, in the inaugural meeting of the Riau IBA Pengprov, also discussed related to the management structure, AD / ART, organizational administration and also for athletes who would later be prepared to attend the National Championship.

"In August 2019, we will also take part in the National Championship in Jakarta. We will prepare the athletes, and at the same time participate in referee and trainer training held by PP IBA in Jakarta," he explained.

Still said Anis, for the inauguration event later, it would still be discussed further, including related to the technical implementation, including the competition area.

"For the concept of this match, we will discuss further, whether it is local Riau or regional Sumatra. Of course, we want this new sport to be known and become popular," he concluded.
