14 Women and 4 Men Netted Pekanbaru Pekanbaru Police Raid in Several Locations

A number of women were secured by Pekanbaru Satpol PP officers in raids at several locations on the night of August 22 until August 23, 2019 in the morning.

News24xx.com - The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Pekanbaru City held raids at a number of night entertainment venues starting at 22:00 WIB, Thursday (22/08/2019), until 02.00 WIB, Friday (23/8/2019). As a result, 14 women and 4 men were caught in raids.

Head of the Civil Service Police Unit Agus Pramono, in his office yard, said, his party held a joint raid last night. Satpol PP mobilized 60 personnel.

"We carried out a game court (gelper) according to reports from the public. Because, the gelper's operating hours were reported to have many problems," he said.

Raids start from Riau Street. Three gelper will be raided. Apparently, these three gelper have been closed according to operating hours.

"Employees at the three gelper are cleaning. There are also no visitors," he explained.

Furthermore, the raid was continued by Surya Citra Hotel (SCH), located near Siak II Bridge. All administrations owned by hotel managers are examined, one of which concerns tax payments.

"It turns out that everything is there even though it is incomplete. Although it is not complete, I also did not seal it because the hotel is trying to take care of it," Agus explained.

Pemko Pekanbaru does not want to kill people's businesses. The entrepreneurs are given time to fix their investment affairs.

"What is important is that I remind you. More than 10 pm, don't put women in their hotel rooms," Agus said.

Then the raid continued to Jalan SM Amin. Some women are secured.

"Then, we entered the Riau Main Stadium area. We saw the situation at that time there were no people," he said.

Then, the raid continued to Jondul. Four people were secured. After from Jondul, the raid was held at the Grand Dragon TV Karaoke.

"In Dragon, that was what happened last night. Even though there was an incident, I continued the raids on KTV Paragon," Agus explained.

In this raid, KTV Paragon management is quite communicative and nothing happens. The results of the raid, 14 women and 4 men were secured to the Satpol PP office.

"We gave them a letter of agreement and guidance so that they would not repeat their actions," Agus said.

To note, the incident in question is a commotion between Agus Pramono and the Head of the Eradication of Riau National Narcotics Commissioner Iwan Eka Putra. The commotion lasted briefly despite the words threat of shooting.
