ASUS compared its six new notebook with Apple in its launching in Jakarta

News24xx.com -  Apple devices often become the comparison material shot on new product technology vendor, Asus was no exception.

When six new notebooks released in Indonesia, they compared their products with MacBook and MacBook Air. Not just a matter of design, but also its performance.

Apparently, the original Taiwan vendor considers its main competitor is Apple in the premium market. Therefore, a number of the device compared to the MacBook.

"They are a great company they are got a nice device. That's why we compete with them on the high end of the market,"said Benjamin Yeh, Asus Diretur Regional Asia Pacific, after the launch event on Tuesday, August 16 2017.

To that end, Asus brought six new notebooks at once to stormed the premium market in Indonesia. In order to compete with Apple, a number of notebookwere made thinner with a much lighter weight.

"We just wanted to compete with the best in the market. Therefore we strive be the thinnest (in the world). That's why the last we compare directly with the MacBook Air. To weigh, weare brave to be compared," said Veronica Erwin, Notebook Asus Product Manager Indonesia in the same place.

For your information, according to IDC, over the fourth quarter of 2016 Asus successfully controlled 51.6% consumer notebook market in Indonesia. They expect this year's market share could increase.

Efforts are being made, among others, by presenting the notebook in a diverse classroom.

Special premium class itself, as already mentioned earlier, there are six new notebooks which are proffered. Price range start from Usd 9.8 million to Rp 50 million.
