News24xx.com - Land and forest fires (karlahut) since the last few weeks have caused haze to cover almost all regions in Riau, plus smog from neighboring provinces which has increasingly threatened the lives of people in Bumi Lancang Kuning.

The increasingly thick smog made the Riau people uneasy, not least in Kampar Regency, which is currently also being shrouded in thick smog.

As a form of concern for people exposed to haze, the Toyota Kijang Club Indonesia (TKCI) Kampar automotive community held a social service (social service) in the form of 1,000 mask masks.

Chairman of the Kampar TKCI, Fikri Mukhti said, the mask distribution activities were held in two different places in the City of Bangkinang, Kampar Regency, Saturday, September 14, 2019 afternoon.

"There are two places that we do for the masks, namely on Jalan Prof. M Yamin and at the intersection of Jalan Sisingamangaraja-DI Panjaitan," Fikri told Riau1.com.

Fikri hopes that this mask-sharing activity is expected to reduce the impact of the community being exposed to the smog that is now getting thicker.

"The mask distribution activities, we are also collaborating with the Kampar District Health Office who also contributed about 7 mask boxes," he said.

"We also appeal to the public to reduce activities outside the home, because too long exposure to haze can interfere with health," he appealed.
