311,789 people in Riau suffer from acute respiratory infections

Patients with acute respiratory infections (ARI) in Riau Province continue to increase. In fact, the number of visits of patients with ARI reached tens of thousands of people.

Riau Health Agency Head, Mimi Yuliani Nazir said, dozens of people suffering from ARI were based on data from 12 city districts during September 1-20 2019.
"For the number of cases of ARI visits per September 20 2019 amounted to 31,434," said Mimi, Saturday, September 21, 2019.

As for the number of cases of ARI visits in 2019 from January to September 20 it reached 311,789 cases.

"In addition to ARI there are also asthma, pneumonia, eye irritation, skin irritation. But the amount is not much. The numbers are not significant when compared to ARI," he said.
