Android 8.0 finally revealed as Android Oreo when solar eclipse

News24xx.com - Google finally unveil the name Android O. As rumors circulating, the Android version 8.0 was named Oreo. This is the second time Google's use of the name taken from a product. Previously, Google ever do so in Android 4.4 KitKat.

The announcement of the Android name O itself is done in unison with the moment of eclipse of the Sun. Google is rolling out a special event at the 14th Street Park, Manhattan, New York, United States. The location is opposite the Chelsea Market, where the original Nabisco factory is located. That's where Oreo is first found.

In the launch event, Product Management Android Director, Sagar Kamdar, briefly uncover the reason why the name finally chosen for Android 8.0.
