Parents were Asleep; the Baby Died Because of High-Voltage Electricity

The incident occurred at the Jatibarang Community Health Center in Indramayu Regency on Tuesday, 9 October 2019.

When the mother cried, it was seen that the Community Health Center staff was trying to calm the woman, while asking the mother to let her child go.

"Patience mother, patience. Release your baby, "the Puskesmas officer asked the mother in the video.

Meanwhile, the mother continued to cuddle and shake her baby while crying.

AKBP M Yoris MY Marzuki explained that the 10-month-old baby was suspected of holding the bread machine cable that had been peeled off.

As a result, the victim was struck by high-voltage electricity and died.

At the time of the incident, the victim's parents were asleep and did not realize their child was playing a cable that was still plugged in.
