First Time in Asean, Pekanbaru Becomes the Location of an Art Exhibition of Billboard Media

Syam Art Management (SAM) together with curator Syamyatmoko presents an outdoor visual art exhibition that is claimed to be the first in Southeast Asia using billboard media or large boards as a promotional tool in Pekanbaru for the next 2 weeks from October 12-25, 2019.

SAM Project Management Fachrozi Amri said that in the exhibition with this giant media, they would collaborate with artists both inside and outside Pekanbaru, who were able to present the talents of visual artters. This statement is stated on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

"The exhibition that carries the name of Outdoor is intended to place the work of creators of artists in public spaces. So that people can directly enjoy the visual artwork of photography and graphic design without having to bother parking their vehicles," he added.

They will place these artworks in strategic locations in Pekanbaru such as the intersection of red lights to the protocol road so that the visual artwork on display will be easily enjoyed.

SAM claimed to collaborate with one of the advertising companies, Swastika, which helped provide eight locations for the artwork of these artists.

"Not only Swastika, there is also a two-point Tourism Office, the Riau Creator Network Agency one point. So there will be 11 points including 1 promotion point for these great works. But for the exact point there is on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman like in MTQ, the Heroes' Tomb and Flyover Jalan Harapan Raya Pekanbaru, "he explained.
