News24xx.com - After being successfully held in Bandung on October 10, Pekanbaru City became the second region to host the 2018-2025 Creative Economy Development Plan (Rindekraf) from the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) for Western Indonesia.

This socialization was held at the Pangeran Hotel, Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Head of Bekraf Triawan Munaf said that the activity which was attended by local government representatives from 13 provinces and 178 districts and cities in Indonesia was important because the creative economy (ecraf) became the fourth sector the biggest in absorbing labor in the archipelago.

"There are around 17.69 million or 14.61 percent of the national workforce in 2017 produced from this sector," he said.

Ekraf is considered to be inclusive regardless of background, age, gender, geographical location, or education. The most important thing is that creativity will never run out because the draft comes from human ideas.

"Realizing the enormous potential and important role of the creative economy in Indonesia's economic growth and competitiveness, we invite all stakeholders to fight together to realize this Rindekraf," he added.

After Pekanbaru, it is Kupang's turn to host the next socialization held on 18 October 2019 for eastern Indonesia.
