News24xx.com - A student of the Islamic University of Indragiri (Unisi) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Study Program (Study Program) English semester 3 reportedly fell into the river and then washed away.

The incident occurred precisely in the Batang Gansal River, Reteh District, Indragiri Hilir Regency (Inhil), Friday, October 18, 2019.

The victim is known as Winanda from Seberang Sanglar Village, Reteh District, Inhil Regency.

Based on information circulating, the victim fell into the river when crossing from Sanglar Village to his village in Seberang Sanglar Village by using a small pompong, precisely at dusk.
 
But on the way, the pompong carrying the victim along with several other passengers had shaken so the victim fell and was carried away by the river.

Even though the residents had disbursed them, the victims still could not be found until the evening.

"Not found yet, the search will resume tomorrow morning by deploying the Inhil Regency BPBD Team," said the Dean of FKIP Unisi, Dr. Edi Susrianto.

He hopes that victims can still be found safely even if the slightest possibility.

Meanwhile, Rio Putra as the Head of Tembilahan SAR Post when confirmed explained after receiving the information, he plans to conduct a search for victims tonight.

"But it is impossible,
God willing, we leave at dawn. "For the time being we stay at the port in Tembilahan," he explained.
